Chemical Peels!!
What are Chemcials Peels? Can Everyone do them?
Chemical peels are a chemical solution applied to the skin for a very deep exfoliation. Depending on the peel and its intensity clients will experience peeling from 1-14 days after the treatment. Deeper peels result in more dramatic results, these are not perfect for everyone however.
There are three main types of peels Light, Medium, and Deep.
Light Peels are very mild,and can be used on all skin types.
Medium Peels go a little deeper into the skin than light peels.
Deep Peels can not be used on darker skin types, typically people only need one peel. The strongest of the types.
How is a chemical peel done? Here is a very general idea.
The Skin is cleansed then the solution best solution for your skin and needs is applied. The Solution is left on for the amount of time desired for your specific treatment. The peel is neutralized and taken off. You may feel a tingle sensation during the peel, we can provide you with a fan to help cool the skin and relieve any discomfort that might be felt.
After care!
Be sure to buy the post treatment kit, this will give you all the proper after care to make sure you are getting and maintaing the best reults possible. Aslo make sure you are using plenty of sunscreen , we dont want to undo all the work you just did!

What is an accelerator tanning lotion?
Accelerators are tanning lotions that increase the amount of melanin your skin naturally produces, when exposed to UV light. Simply put it helps your body absorb the light to give you a better than. Most accelerators can do this because they have amino acids in them that stimulate melanin pigmentation. They do not have any bronzers or tingles in them. Tingle Lotions!
What are Tingle lotions, what do they do?
To start- tingle lotions increase blood flow and cause some redness, which will then turn into a tan. If you have blood pressure problems and dizziness we do not suggest using tingle lotions. Tingle lotions also speed up the repair process of the skin. Which is why you go from red as can be to a beautiful tan in a short amount of time. Tingle lotions range from slight to extreme, and vary from company to company. For some people with sensitive skin even the slightest tingle can be too much. So always be aware of you, and your skin!
Tingle lotions are not for everyone. If you know you are going to be around small children after using a tingle lotion do not come in contact with them- they will have a reaction to the lotion. The effects of a tingle lotion can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.
For those who love to know ingredients- Tingles are different combinations of Hexyl Nicotinate, Methyl Nicotinate, and Benzyl Nicotinate.

Bronzing Lotions!
What is a Bronzing lotion good for?
Bronzing Lotions are great for amplifiying your tan! They help you to ger darker faster, some brozning lotions have DHA in them. **DHA is a colorless chemical that is derived from glycerin, it interacts with the amino acids in your skin to produce a brown color** The DHA in tanning lotions is different from the DHA in sunless tanners.
We carry many different kinds of bronzing lotions! Just remember to wash your hands after you use it, you don't want tan palms it's just not natural!! All of our bronzing lotions are streak-free and won't leave your orange. Some of the bronzing lotions we carry are!!

Tanning Lotions: Are they Important?
The questions we get asked the most all about lotions a few of them are...
Why do I need to use a lotion, it is really necessary?
Yes, you do really need the lotion. We are not just saying that to sell you something. You need the lotion because, indoor tanning lotions are specifically made to help your body absorb the UV rays. Your body will tan faster, tan darker, and last longer; So you are getting the most out of your tan. Lotions are also keeping your skin Hydrated while tanning. Hydrated skin holds a tan, and dehydrated skin will look ashy and your tan will fade much faster.
Can I use any old lotion in your tanning beds?
No, you may not use just any lotion in our beds, you need to use lotions specifically made for indoor tanning. Any other lotions or products you may use will actually damage the acrylic on the tanning beds. The acrylic is the part of the tanning bed your body comes in contact with, do you really want to damage that? We don't!
What kind of lotions are there?
We have so many lotions to choose from! We have a wide variety of tingle lotions, bronzing lotions, accelerator lotions, and we can't forget cooling lotions! All of our staff are knowledgable in all the lotions we carry, so you are sure to get the proper lotion for your skin, and your needs!
